Podcast: Download

Cathy Erway is the blogger behind Not Eating Out in New York in which she chronicled the ins and outs of her stint boycotting restaurants for two years – not easy to do in a city known for it’s great eateries. In the process she learned to cook for herself and started Hapa Kitchen, a supper club with a penchant for fusing Asian and American cuisine (Hapa is a word for someone who is half-Asian; Cathy’s mother is Chinese and her co-founder Akiko Moorman is half Japanese.)
Now she is writing a book about her experiences which is due out in February of 2010 and has a radio show on the Heritage Radio Network called . It’s about love, dating and food that airs Fridays at 3pm.
